HP centre awarded for creating workplaces

HP Global Business Centre in Wrocław has been pronounced one of the three best foreign investments in Poland in 2010 by Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency. The Centre has been operating in Wrocław for five years and has been awarded for generating the biggest number of workplaces.

HP Global Business Centre has been operating on the Wrocław market since 2005. In the course of only five years, the centre noted the rise in employment from 0 to 165 people in 2005, and to over 2,000 by the end of the year 2010. 95% employees are university graduates.

Hewlett-Packard centre in Wrocław provides the services in finance and accounting, HR, sales, marketing, data processing and supply chain management.

Polish Information and Investment Agency awards yearly prizes in three categories: the biggest business undertaking, the investment that has created the biggest number of workplaces and the most important project in the field of modern technologies.

Apart from HP centre (the investment generating the biggest number of workplaces), the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency awarded also Swedspan/IKEA (the biggest investment in 2010) and Hamilton Sundstrand Poland (modern technologies).
