The pilot group is made of 4th and 5th year University of WrocÅ‚aw students doing diverse courses ranging from law or philosophy to biotechnology. The agenda is divided in four subject areas. First one, efficient time communication, deals with sharing responsibilities, leadership and leader’s responsibility. Business English is the second one, followed by numerical and analytical skills like Excel and, last but not least, self-presenting skills, creativity and creative problem solution.
First edition of ‘WrocÅ‚aw’s Graduate’ ends in July 2011 when first fourty participants finish the training. The partners are: the Municipality of WrocÅ‚aw, the University of WrocÅ‚aw, WrocÅ‚aw Agglomeration Development Agency and the most dedicated entrepreneurs in Lower Silesia: Google, BZ WBK, McKinsey, Hewlett-Packard Company, Credit-Suisse, Nokia Siemens Network and Capgemini.
‘Wrocław’s Graduate’ is on!
Fourty University of Wrocław students are going to take part in the soft skills and English language training. ‘Wrocław’s Graduate’ is the joint initiative of the Municipality, the University of Wrocław and the biggest investors of the city.
It’s them, the potential employers like Google, McKinsey or Nokia Siemens Network, who have created the list of their future employees’ desired abilities. This served as the basis for ‘WrocÅ‚aw’s Graduate’ agenda. The participants will face real life situations and will be trained to stay on the top of them.
